This has come after a lot of confusion regarding Labour’s position on their £28bn pledge as several ministers refused to discuss the figure whilst the party leader; Keir Starmer used it wildly.
Labour was, and may still be, intending to establish a publicly owned green energy company and was previously suggesting an increase of annual green energy spending to £28bn (up £20bn from the current £8bn per annum). However, they have recently backtracked due to several reasons.

GP Shortages
Some GPs warn that accessing them could potentially get as difficult as seeing an NHS dentist, this may result in people having to either be sick and have little access to healthcare besides going directly to hospital or going private, neither of which is ideal.

The Post Office scandal involves around 700 people who were falsely accused of theft due to a faulty computer system, eventually resulting in many being fined or imprisoned, many are now seeking compensation.
To date only around 100 people have received compensation after a 20–year legal battle with the Post.
This faulty computer system called Horizon is still being used by the Post Office, recently securing a £37 million contract for a further 2 years.

After the tax break on firms being made permanent (for every £1 spent on equipment,
plants and IT 25p can be claimed back), and the increase in domestic investment by £3bn from 2022. More foreign firms are now looking to invest in the UK ,
